Dr. Michael Riva was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by his father, Dr. Al Riva, who practiced dentistry in south St. Catharines for nearly 50 years. Dr. Michael Riva obtained his dental degree with honours from the University of Toronto in 1986 and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honour dental society. He also received seven other academic awards. Dr. Riva received his graduate diploma in Orthodontics from the University of Toronto. He studied under the late Dr. Donald Woodside. As part of his graduate requirements, Dr. Riva did a research thesis on "The Relationship of Facial Soft-Tissue Structures in Parents and Their Offspring" using data from the world-renowned Burlington Growth Centre. While maintaining a full-time orthodontic practice, Dr. Riva has also been a volunteer coach for young athletes in baseball, curling, basketball and soccer. He was born and raised in St. Catharines, is married with three children, and has been in orthodontic practice in the area since 1989.

Dr. Anuraj Kochhar is a dually-trained orthodontist and has been serving his patients since 2012. He has an immense passion for orthodontics which can be seen in his constant pursuit of perfection. Dr. Anuraj utilizes cutting-edge technologies to enhance the smiles of his patients. His eye for detail helps create beautiful, healthy and joyful smiles. Dr. Anuraj completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (2008) and Masters in Orthodontics (2012) in India. He served the community for 8 years creating beautiful smiles and treating thousands of patients. Thereafter, he moved to Canada to pursue his career goals. He was selected for the DSATP Orthodontics program in the prestigious University of Toronto where he continued to augment his education and research. His orthodontic work and research has been published in prestigious international scientific journals. He also serves on the editorial board of various peer-reviewed orthodontic and dental journals. He loves to mentor dental students and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills through his active involvement in teaching undergraduate dental students at University of Toronto. When he is not in the office, he loves spending time with his wife and 3 year old son. He is an avid wildlife photographer and loves nature. His other interests include traveling and hiking.
